The Hand-XD® is a revolutionary wireless remote control which can operate a generator remotely from up to 100 m in open fields. The Hand-XD offers the majority of the same features but for controlling the Baltospot Portable Constant potential series.
The purpose of this is certainly to gain freedom of moves in cluttered environment like shipyards or places where cables are at risk or never long enough because of mandatory twists and turns around existing infrastructures.
Having the control at your fingertips at all time including exposure is also of great advantage in terms of security as you can interrupt exposure at anytime if your surveyed area is not cleared anymore. The built in Dosimeter completes the safety oriented features of the unit by providing the operator a reliable and convenient monitoring of exposure at the very place where he or she stands.
The Hand-XD Power connected to the generator has specifically been designed to cope with harsh environment and bad power supplies.

The DC1 control unit is derived from our well known CF2000 control unit and offers the majority of the same features but for controlling the BALTOSPOT Portable Constant potential series.
The unit can be distinguished from others by its two red handles and its slightly smaller size. Because power availability on sites is not that often easy to obtain, the DC1 unit uses the minimum power as possible. It also adapts to the different power supplies or variations without influencing the dose output or your image quality.
As always, Balteau is safety oriented and nothing has been left aside in that field. The waterproof ergonomic keypad and the large robust handles attached on the side are making it ideal for on site jobs as well as desktop uses. The 4 lines backlit clear display is giving at all time the necessary indications to the users about the status of operations. A convenient bright yellow cover is also protecting your unit when not in use.

A number one hit for years, the GFD165 is the smallest unit of the GF series.
With a maximum of 160 kV and 5 mA, the GFD165 is a compact gas insulated unit designed for applications where size and weight matter. The GFD165 is the ideal machine for field applications where the unit needs to be frequently moved or inserted in tiny spaces. With regards to its 5mA and pulsed wave technology, the unit can penetrate medium to very thin materials, metallic or composites. It will easily surpass the poor contrast of Isotopes and will be a very good replacement in lower thickness ranges where Isotopes are generally not allowed.

A generator needs a reliable, flexible and stable power supply for working. With a Crawler, this power supply is brought by a battery set embarked in the mechanical carrier. The CF3 is the power converter (Chopper) between the batteries and the Generator. However the CF3 is also an intelligent regulator which will be able to give out of your batteries the most stable and constant output all along your exposures. Our Chopper CF3 is the result of the technology evolution that is applicable in electronics nowadays.
Based on the well known CF1 that has equipped several generations of Crawlers around the globe, this new model has also been developed to be used with the major brands of Crawler Manufactures.
The CF3 features a separate set up and remote control device (CFR) which allows you to manage parameters and preheating functions.
