A number one hit for years, the GFD165 is the smallest unit of the GF series.
With a maximum of 160 kV and 5 mA, the GFD165 is a compact gas insulated unit designed for applications where size and weight matter. The GFD165 is the ideal machine for field applications where the unit needs to be frequently moved or inserted in tiny spaces. With regards to its 5mA and pulsed wave technology, the unit can penetrate medium to very thin materials, metallic or composites. It will easily surpass the poor contrast of Isotopes and will be a very good replacement in lower thickness ranges where Isotopes are generally not allowed.
This unit uses the same driving electronic and technologies as the CERAM but is equipped with the standard well proven glass tube of Balteau NDT.

The GFC165 is a panoramic portable unit derived from our well known Crawler series but designed to be operated on field without mechanical carriage.
It will easily surpass the poor contrast of Isotopes and will be a very interesting replacement in lower thickness ranges where Isotopes are generally not allowed.
In combination with a GFD (Directional) or a CERAM, the GFC165 is the ideal machine for field applications where the unit needs to be frequently moved or inserted in tiny spaces. Guard rings can be removed and a cradle can be used to perform difficult inspections.
This unit has to be combined to one of the two available type of control units (CF2000 or Hand X), with very lightweight new generation of cables..

The GFC205 is a panoramic portable unit derived from our well known Crawler series but designed to be operated on field without mechanical carriage. This unit has then naturally inherited the reliability of the crawler technology of Balteau NDT.
The GFC205 can deliver up to 200 kV and 5 mA and can be classified in the range of middle power units available at Balteau NDT.
It will easily surpass the poor contrast of Isotopes and will be a very interesting replacement in medium thickness ranges where Isotopes are generally not performing well.
In combination with a GFD (Directional) or a CERAM, the GFC205 will allow you to perform all kind of exposures with a limited number of units.

The Hand-X® is a revolutionary wireless remote control which can operate a generator remotely from up to 100 m in open fields.
The purpose of this is certainly the freedom of moves in cluttered environment like shipyards or places where cables are at risk or never long enough because of mandatory twists and turns around existing infrastructures. Having the control at your fi ngertips at all time including exposure is also of great advantage in terms of security as you can interrupt exposure at anytime if your surveyed area is not cleared anymore. The built in Dosimeter completes the safety oriented features of the unit by providing the operator a reliable and convenient monitoring of exposure at the very place where he or she stands. The Hand-X® Power connected to the generator has specifi cally been designed to cope with harsh environment and bad power supplies.

This lightweight control unit is one of the two possible interface between any of the BALTOSPOT® pulsed wave generators and the operator.
This power unit has specifically been designed to cope with harsh environment and bad power supplies. Indeed, it is able to handle bad power supplies like the one delivered by some power generators without affecting the dose output neither your image quality: the result is always a very stable and constant output no matter what power feeds the unit.
As always, Balteau is safety oriented and nothing has been left aside in that field. The waterproof ergonomic keypad and the large robust handles attached on the side are making it ideal for on site jobs as well as desktop uses. The 4 lines backlit clear display is giving at all time the necessary indications to the users about the status of operations. A convenient bright yellow cover is protecting your unit when not in use.
