Time and use can modify the calibration of an equipment then performing a calibration can become necessary to ensure it works as mentioned in its specifications. Mostly a calibration will be done at the same time of a maintenance but in case you need it before because of local authorities rules, contact us via our contact page to schedule a calibration.
Periodic maintenance will ensure to keep the equipment in good conditions and operating at its best performances. Our service and maintenance department will check your equipment and do an assessment of its state. A report will be created and sent for approval before performing the maintenance. The retrofit of equipment consists of doing an assessment of it to understand the state it is currently in and manage to expand its lifetime. It can be done for all ranges, portable, stationary and real time systems. For Baltospot portable and Baltograph stationary generators, Balteau will replace wearing parts (tube only if necessary to avoid the cost) and upgrade it with new control units and/or software standards. All upgraded equipment will be delivered with a classic one year warranty. Balteau offers 2 solutions, depending on availabilities; Refurbished which consist of remaking previously used equipment as brand new or classic second hand that will be serviced before delivery. Refurbished equipment will be covered by a 1 year full warranty and second hand will have a 3 months warranty. It can happen that an operator is not familiar with the way equipment operations or with x-ray in general which is why Balteau can offer trainings regarding its use.
